Non Asbestos Gasket

Product description

Non-Asbestos fibre gaskets received their name when the asbestos containing gaskets had to be replaced due to their carcinogenic characteristics. When asbestos was outlawed new materials with similar features were needed. The development of replacement materials started and today they allow applications comparable to asbestos containing gaskets without being carcinogenic.

Non-asbestos sheets are made using Organic-/ Aramid-/ NBR-/ or Mineral fiber. Non-asbestos materials generally have very good heat resistant properties. They are widely used for applications that put them into contact with water, petrol or natural gas.

    The Novus range of non-asbestos fibre materials are suitable for high-temperature operations where oils, fuels and acids are used
